Featured below are some of the very nice things people have said about us on Tripadvisor – you can visit ourĀ Tripadvisor page here to see all of them.
We really enjoyed our walking tour of BA with our guide, Ceri, who was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions about BA and Argentinian culture. Doing the tour gave us a great overview of the city, and Ceri gave us loads of recommendations for other things to do and where to eat – much better information than a guidebook. We also liked that he showed us some off-the-beaten-track spots that we wouldn’t have otherwise found on our own.

I read about this tour on trip advisor and I was really excited to take it because I wanted to learn more about the transportation system here. I have been taking cabs around the city and figured the bus system may be cheaper and a better way to explore the city. Richard did not disappoint with this tour. He was patient and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about the city.

I did a general Buenos Aires tour as well as a private tour of La Boca. Jessica was my guide in both cases, and she was wonderful! The group tour was great for getting an overview of some well-known parts of the city as well as a few of the lesser known. It would be very helpful to do right when arriving because Jessica showed us how to use the subway and bus system which came in very handy for my trip. Jessica was extremely knowledgeable and gave really interesting information on both tours. Lastly, the group sends out a list of recommendations for Buenos Aires which was invaluable. I did many of them and thoroughly enjoyed them. I highly recommend both the group tour and Jessica!

We loved Ceri‘s tour of the city. He obviously has a passion for B.A. Very well thought out itinerary and great advice for places to eat, things to do. Definitely think about doing this when you first arrive, it’s not only very informative but lots of fun!

After reading the reviews here I took the tour. The reviews have never disappointed me. Jonathan is a great person who gives you a tour of the city with great enthusiasm and energy. It’s a great way to start your visit in Buenos Aires.

Jonathan was really knowledgeable about BA history & life in BA in general- it gave us a really good understanding of BA, the history, the people & culture. My husband is a keen photographer & Johnathan was able to adjust the tour pace to suit us [..] We had a great time, & learned alot about the history & people. A very worthwhile investment of our time & money. If you are considering a tour in BA- I strongly recommend you contact Jonathan.

Jonathan was a brilliant guide. You can feel he loves the city and really makes sure you see it like a local – using the buses (not as easy to do unaided) and subte. He was brilliant at little tips on where to buy certain goods and helped with queries unconnected with the tour. If visiting do this tour Day 1 if you can and it will make your BA experience for the rest of your stay 100% better.

Jonathan really loves Buenos Aires and his passion shines through in his tour. We got to take the bus and subway like a local and see all the sights at a relaxed pace. Highly recommended especially if you’ve just arrived in BA!

My tango history lesson came courtesy of Buenos Aires Local Tours, run by the brilliant, passionate tour guide Jonathan. He does the tours for tips only and has a wealth of local knowledge, both past and current. It was a fascinating day! […] Again, many thanks to Buenos Aires Local Tours, whose passionate tour guide Jonathan was a wealth of knowledge about these political tragedies. He does the tours for tips only. I highly recommend!
I found Jonathan’s tour on Tripadvisor before our trip and the only thing I wish I’d done differently is to follow other’s advice and take this tour on day 1. Jonathan starts the tour by explaining the map, bus routes, subway, how to use these and what to say to buy tickets. If you are planning to explore the city on your own without being lost this information is vital.
On the day of our tour, we were the only two people to show up so Jonathan ended up giving us a private tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not only it was extremely informative, but also fun and entertaining, took us to many places around town we wouldn’t have otherwise visited, allowed us plenty of time to take pictures and have a coffee, answered every question we could come up with and even had a healthy dose of British humor. This is one excursion you don’t want to miss.
