Palermo
Leafy Palermo is the perfect place to escape the chaos of Microcentro. Home to parks full of rollerbladers and joggers, funky street markets and enough bars and restaurants to satisfy any budget or taste, falling in love with Palermo is easy. Leaving could turn out to be a lot harder.
Traditionally a working-class neighbourhood on the edge of town, Palermo has become the design and artistic heart of Buenos Aires and the streets of the area known as Palermo Soho are crammed with trendy boutiques and galleries. Despite it’s modern edge, culture runs deep here, and parts have changed little since the formative years a young Jorge Luis Borges spent here.
